Vision analysis for the partially sighted are conducted by our low vision specialist or performed by your family optometrist or ophthalmologist to see if you are certified as "legally blind" or partially sighted. This certification can be conducted at Metro Vision . If uninsured or under insured, we will adjust our fees according to your ability to pay. If you are persuing employment or your job is in jeopardy, you may qualify for assistance from one of the State of Michigan's two vision rehabilitation agencies; Michigan Commission for the Blind or Michigan Rehabilitation Services. We can refer you if you qualify or provide the low vision services independently. Low vision appliances include special telescopes, microscopes, magnifiers and closed circuit television systems and computer software to magnify or read the print on your computer monitor.
